Special Metals 61 ERNi-1 .031" Dia Nickel Filler Metal comes on a 30 lb spool and is suitable for surfacing of steel. Filler metal can be used for gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc and submerged arc welding of Nickel 200/201. Weld metal having tensile strength of 60000 psi exhibits good corrosion resistance, particularly in alkalis. Filler metal supports dissimilar welding applications such as joining Nickel 200 and 201 to stainless steels, carbon steels, Inconel® Alloys, Incoloy® Alloys, copper nickel alloys as well as MONEL® Alloys. Filler metal can also be used for joining MONEL® Alloys and copper-nickel alloys to carbon steels and copper nickel alloys to Inconel® as well as Incoloy® Alloys.
