1940s Philco floor-model radio

This 1940s Philco floor-model radio is in really good condition considering its age. Of course, being 80 or so years old, it doesn’t work. That’s why the low asking price. The cloth speaker cover is in very good condition, but could stand a little cleaning. In the back, the original tubes and speakers are intact and unchanged since their heyday. They could stand replacing or simply install a new, updated sound system. There some loose wood pieces that belong on the sides at the bottom that need re-gluing. Otherwise, the exterior is as clean and fresh as you can see in photograph #3. Presently, the radio is wrapped in a corrugated box and is stored in a locker, which is why I don’t know the model number. For the price, this can be a handsome piece of furniture.
