Very Fine (VF-30)
Obverse (Franklin’s Portrait): There are flat spots on the high points like the cheek, jaw, and shoulder. Hair strands show some separation but are weak and merged in places, especially from the forehead to the ear and behind the ear. The hairline is present but not sharply detailed, and the overall portrait lacks the crispness of higher grades. This aligns with VF criteria where most details are visible but with noticeable wear.
• Reverse (Liberty Bell): Bell lettering is worn but readable. Approximately half of the base crack lines and top horizontal lines are visible, but they’re not fully struck or complete across the bell. The beam straps and eagle details are partially flattened. No significant luster remains, indicating circulation.
