This was obtained from a longtime friend and Former Indy Racer.
AS Stated in National Indy 500 Collector Club:
As of November 2024, two 1980 programs with 1979 winner Rick Mears on the cover have been found. These were distributed at a dinner the night before the ‘500’ which was hosted by Penske sponsor the Gould Company and were probably also available in the Gould Company turn 2 suites on race day. It is believed that 500 or less of these programs were printed making it one of the rarest Indianapolis 500 programs known.
