1 Pair Handmade vintage Sterling Hematite earrings made by Julia Etsitty. The Navajo artist Julia Etsitty made this beautiful vintage pair of earrings. These earrings have a feathered design and is set with large hematite stones. Her name is marked on the back of earrings and sterling is marked on back as well.
A little history of the stone: Hematite is colored black to steel or silver-gray, brown to reddish-brown, or red. It is mined as the main ore of iron.
This is who Julia Etsitty is: Julia Etsitty is Navajo and in her early to mid 50's now. She has been doing jewelry for 30 years. She lives in Yambato which is west of Gallup. Located in New Mexico.
