A classic piece- they don't make them like this anymore! Love or hate the color, it's been absurdly reliable- has an AC motor.
I've bought and been given much newer hair dryers, cheaper ones (<$50) and nicer (250+). All failed or became fire hazards over the years, though they're treated well.
