This coin is an Antoninianus of Ceasar Gaius Pius Esuvius Tetricus (Tetricus I : 270-274 A,D.) struck at either the Colonia Claudia Ara Agrppinensium in Cologne, Germany or the Augusta Treverorum in Treveri. When the Gallic Empire was a breakaway empire of the Roman Empire.
The Obverse reads - IMP C TETRICVS P F AVG - and has the head of Tetricus with a Radiate crown and his shoulders cuirassed (armored).
The Reverse reads - COMES AVG - The figure of Victory is standing facing left, holding a wreath in the right hand and a palm in the left.
The coin is struck in billon and weighs about 2.60gm while having a diameter of approximately 17-18mm.
