Amethyst Agate Geode w/stand

A unique piece, unlike the traditional amethyst "catherdrals" that dominate the market. This beautiful amethyst is in a thick agate geode. Nice deep purple. The agate (not including the amethyst) is 1/2" thick all the way around (an inch with the amethyst), so this has none of the cement/tar or other materials often added to the outside of cheaper amethyst geodes when they're too thin, to keep them from falling apart. This is all agate and amethyst, with a nice polish on the front cut surface, showing some beautiful agate banding.

Measures 6" wide x 2.8" high x 2.8" deep, and weighs 842 grams (1lb 13.7oz).
