This is an antique dresser mirror dated 1882. Handmade, it notes the creator's name, Apollos Long. It also specifies the wood is black walnut with French walnut veneer. They are inlays of hearts and diamonds in this hand crafted piece.There is a working side lock. Upon opening, you'll see the large mirror seems to be in great shape; the smaller mirror, on the side of the hand written information, has deterioration likely from the glue used and the mirror feels a bit loose. When closed, it measures about 11 1/4" long and 3 1/2" wide. This piece is 141 years old and in pretty remarkable shape.
