Sorry I am not quite sure what you call it but my elderly neighbors asked me to sell it for them. They are from Montana on a ranch where they made their own clothes. The wool is so soft and it doesn’t smell like mothballs, but it has the slightest hint of being kept in a storage chest, I believe it would go away if let out to air a couple hours.
