These are increasingly hard to find, early 1900’s very Large Bread/Cake/Baked Goods Tin Box. Primitive, Rustic & Authentic! As you see there is a large degree of Chippiness, dents & rust. The stencil Deco Border is there but faded. The hinges have long since been broken and there is a front closure that is just there but non functional. The lid is misshapen and goes on after fiddling with to get it lined up.
There are handles on each side which Do Work!! It definitely can be cleaned up and painted if you wanted to do away with the shabby primitive look. On the other hand there is an amazing amount of charm and character in this big old box! 12.5x 17.5x11.5”
