This antique decorated toleware box was made in the 19th century and belonged to my mother’s mother’s paternal uncle Robert F. Keith (1842–1919). The decoration to the top is hand done and in good condition. There are scratches to the black surface of the box and the bottom that should be expected from an antique that is at least 125 years old. Initials “R.F.K.” painted in black on the top. Key included, so this box secures and locks. Adorable little handle. One of three tole boxes I’ve got.
