German doll maker, Hertwig, made dolls from 1860s-1940s. From my research, this porcelain head doll(marked 7, Germany) with potentially original nankeen cloth body & partial lower bisque limbs, may date to 1888. The black hair, blue eyes, pink cheeks, heart shaped lips & brown boots are all original paint. She measures approximately 8.5” long. Her dress & pantaloons were made in the early 1970s. Please see images for very good as-is antique condition. Her pantaloons have split & there is a scuff on her left boot at the toe.
