I was told that this was a coal burning pot belly stove but after I received it and figured out how to open it to clean it, I found a pure brass tank with huge wick and it has a plug to pull for filling it and the other ug you can pull out actually has a brass float and fuel gage built out of the brass plug. THE BRASS TANK IS HAND MADE AND ITS A GREAT PIECE OF ART.
