This is a hard-to-find sterling silver compact with a blank cartouche, ready for that special monogram.
It features a classic Art-Deco design on the front. When opened, it reveals an intact mirror with some clouding but still reflective. The other interior side has two compartments that open, which may have held powder or rouge. So elegant!
The top of closure has a small, red cabochon.
Measurements: 3.25 x 1.75 inches.
