Antique Webster's International Dictionary 1894 Unabridged Edition. Published by G & C Merriam Company, which purchased the rights to the Webster Dictionary shortly after the death of Noah Webster, and would continue to publish updated copies, such as this one. During the creation of this dictionary, Noah Porter, a previous president of Yale College, would supervise the revisions made.
The dictionary is in very rough shape and is held together by a weak binding and old tape. The hardcover is falling apart and shedding while being loosely held together. Some pages have rips, folds, and stains. There are a couple of items in the dictionary, such as old flowers and ribbon bookmarks. Letters on the side of the book are worn out. Again, this dictionary is in poor shape and is falling apart. See pictures for details.
