Extremely rare handmade American pendant. The pendant is carved from a light-colored antler, likely deer or elk, and has a pointed tip. A thin brown leather strap is attached to the antler, featuring a braided section that acts as a closure mechanism. Bought at an estate sale, I am unsure of maker, but after an exhaustive search we could not find another example with this type of leather braid for sale on line.
