This seems like it would be a good read for someone with an interest in the ancient lands of the Bible. It is a pretty thick volume with 598 pages of text and a large section at the back of black and white (and a few tri-tone colored) plates of drawings and photographs.
Hardcover book with blue cloth covered boards. Gilt titles on top board and spine. Black and white photographic pastedown on top board. 598 pp (including index) + 138 pp plates at rear.
Condition: The book is very clean inside and out. The rear hinge has been cracked, but there is white binder's tape used as a repair. It is a former library book with a call number on the spine, but no other library markings. Prior owner names in pencil and ink on front free endpaper. A small bit of wear to the board corners - not much though.
