Alexander the Great Type 2 (gorytos type) bronze one chalkos (eighth obol) coin. Obverse: Alexander III The Great as Heracles right in a lion skin headdress. Reverse: The Bow and the club; Inscription is "Of Alexander". Minted in Miletos, Ionia, Asia Minor, circa 323-319 BC (Early posthumous issue!). Reference: M.J. Price 2102A. Provenance: Savoca Coins Auction House (Munich, Germany).
