These boots are very comfortable. They have a wedge to add some height, and also to help with the waterproof aspect of the boot can be worn with snowsuit pair of jeans, pair of leggings even a pair of pajama pants if you are running out at night to grab a midnight snack.
Very minimal wear maybe one one or two times doesn’t get as cold as the north and I have not had any reason to wear them ( although it is very cold here in Florida ) lol.
