Fabulous vintage Bogoff rhinestone bridal necklace. It is unmarked, the clasp indicates it is a Bogoff piece. It is heavily plated, in Rhodium, as Bogoff pieces are.
I believe this was worn for the owner's wedding, and then placed in a cedar chest, where I found it with a wedding suit. I do not have the original box, however.
The center stone is beautifully cut, in a modified triangle style. It is just stunning, even in low light. There are a few rhinestones that have yellowed, and they are shown (we enhanced it) in the photos. Barely noticeable in normal light.
The clasp is a spring ring from the 1940's, and it has a safety chain, which was only put on the finest jewelry. Bogoff jewelry was of the best quality, and was made like the finest 'real' jewelry. When purchased, Bogoff pieces were guaranteed for life.
The overall length is 14", the drops hang about 1 1/4".
