Our Assorted Bucephalandra features a variety of low-growing, slow-growing plants native to Borneo. These hardy plants thrive in most aquarium setups with minimal light and fertilization. For the brightest colors and fastest growth, add CO₂ injection, stronger lighting, and good water circulation, but they’ll still do well under basic care.

Plants may arrive potted or with bare roots, depending on availability. Each rhizome will continue to grow new leaves over several months, so be patient, Bucephalandra adds value through its long-lasting, steady growth.

To propagate your Buce, simply cut the rhizome into sections and attach each piece to driftwood or rock with thread or aquarium-safe glue. New leaves will sprout from each section, letting you build a lush carpet or a striking accent over time.
