How to propagate:
Use well-draining soil: Mermaid Tails thrive in a gritty, well-draining mix.
Plant the cutting: Gently insert the calloused end of the stem into the soil.
Water sparingly: Water the soil only when it's completely dry, as Mermaid Tails are prone to root rot from overwatering.
Provide bright, indirect light: Place the cutting in a location that receives bright, indirect sunlight.

Be patient: It may take several weeks for the cutting to root and start growing.
Monitor for signs of rot: If the cutting starts to turn black or mushy, it may be rotting, and you may need to remove it and try again.
