This is a high-performance compact macro lens with a 50mm focal length. It has been stored in a smoke-free, dehumidified environment.
I purchased it about 15 years ago and used it for product photography and portrait shooting.
While there is some whitening on the rubber of the focus ring, there are no noticeable scratches or mold inside the lens. Both the AF operation and aperture are in good condition.
Although its AF speed is now incredibly slow, making it less frequently used, the images it produces have a rich color and painterly shadows that are more pronounced than RF lenses, making it a favorite of mine.
When paired with a life-size converter, it becomes a 100mm macro lens with 1:1 magnification, allowing you to capture a breathtaking, otherworldly view. I am also listing the converter, so please consider it as well. I have attached a sample photo taken with the converter.
As it is an old lens, there may be some minor dust and debris inside, so please refrain from purchasing if you are overly concerned about this.
