When Queen Elizabeth II was crowned in 1953, ten statues of magical creatures, known as the Queen’s Beasts, were created to form an honor guard at the entrance of Westminster Abbey. Hanover, inspired by the White Horse of Hanover, is one of the last two in Charlie Bears’ Queen’s Beasts Series.
Designed by Alison Mills, he is an impressive 21.5” tall, created in a winter white plush fabric. He has a lightly shaved muzzle, and his expressive eyes with air-brushed shading give him a stately look. While most of his fur is a fairly short pile, he has a mane of longer fur as well as longer fur at his hooves and at the end of his long tail.
He wears a key pendant. He is fully jointed and is a limited edition of only 2,000 pieces world-wide
