Chokin Art dates back some 900 years in Japan. Craftsmen would use copper and gild it with gold and silver. Use for temples, shrines, and Samurai armor it has been revived into depicting more serene scenes. This particular piece depicts a temple in the mountains. It measures 9.5-10.5” in a 14.5-17” frame.
