An antique coal scuttle decorated with brass lion heads and a porcelain delft handle. it has a sloping lip for pouring the coal. It measures 6 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches long, 5 inches wide and 3 inches deep. It measures 17 inches in diameter around the middle of the scuttle.  I cleaned the outside as much as I could but the inside I was not able to clean as well as outside. The coal call scuttles were made in the early 18 century. The bottom of the scuttle has a tag saying Delta made in Holland in our 198.
