This French Limoges 12-in. charger features a dainty floral transfer of pink and yellow roses. The white background gradually shades to pink at the bottom. It has a beautifully embossed and scalloped rim. Prominently, at the bottom, is a hand applied asymmetrical design of raised gold florals and scrollwork depicting a vase. The rim is decorated with hand painted pink and gold.
The charger has two backstamps: one for Laz Rosenfeld & Lehman, the other is the Coiffe factory whiteware mark, ca.1891-1914, Limoges, France. Condition: there are several small areas of loss to the gold, both on the rim and the scrollwork. Pls look carefully at the close-up photographs. This condition is reflected in the price. There are no chips, cracks, or repairs on this porcelain piece.
