Expanded 3CD edition of Future Loop Foundation's album and single releases on Planet Dog. Includes stand-alone tracks and remixes, previously unreleased demos and a live track. All tracks have been remastered from their original sources. Disc One is a remaster of the band's 1996 debut album 'Time and Bass'. Disc Two is a remaster of 'Conditions for Living' the band's second album released in 1998. Disc Three brings together the tracks and remixes released on the band's stand-alone EPs, two previously unreleased out- takes from the 'Time and Bass' sessions and a live track recorded in December 1996. The package also includes a 20-page full colour booklet featuring unseen photographs from the band's archive accompanied by extensive sleeve notes by journalist Kris Needs charting the band's back story and time with Planet Dog Producer Mark Barrott AKA Future Loop Foundation signed to Planet Dog in 1996. During his time with the label he released two ground-breaking albums and a couple of EP's that helped to move Drum n'Bass away from being viewed solely as a DJ-friendly genre produced exclusively for a club environment. By overlaying the style's syncopated rhythms with rich and melodic multi-layered instrumentation, Future Loop Foundation's releases helped to redefine Drum n'Bass as an album-friendly genre that could appeal to the home listener. As well as pioneering a new direction for Drum n'Bass as an album genre, Mark quickly established Future Loop Foundation as being one of the few Drum n'Bass acts that played live. He undertook numerous tours across the UK and Europe, capitalising on the growing appetite for live performances amongst electronic music fans of the late 90's. Post-Planet Dog, Mark went on to release a further six albums as Future Loop Foundation before reverting to his own name under which he's carved out a successful career as a producer of downtempo electronica, releasing a string of albums up to the present date. His most recent album: 'Everything Changes, Nothing Ends' was released on Anjunabeats' offshoot label Reflections in November 2024.
