I am excited about this one and it is going straight into my Halloween journal. The snake eating its tail represents the cycle of life. If you want to know more of its meaning and origin, scroll down to the end of the description box.
The stamp is 3.75" tall x 3.5" wide. The details are great especially with inks like StazOn, Archival or Versafine as these can give the finest lines. The snake can be colored with Copics or Watercolors. It also looks great on vellum and transparencies.
The Ouroboros snake (snake / dragon eating its tail) is an ancient symbol representing concepts like eternity, the cycle of life and the interconnectedness of all living things.
