Heath AA-2500 amplifier & AP-2510 preamplifier MM & MC phono section

Built by Harmon Kardon toa higher level than you would expect from them in the last 3 decades in an attempt to capture a share of the higher end audiophile market under the Heath name however Heath was a solid vacuum tube component manufacturer that did not translate well when solid state equipment arrived in the late 60s ,people either had never heard of Heath or it or had them thinking of an old closed down has been company not the slick high end components that Harmon Kardon produced to get the 2 channel market buzzing and media insiders talking but never was marketed well and went relatively unnoticed and production was stopped. The AA-2500 amplifier is rated at 100 watts per channel and utilized a toroidal transformer, the preamplifier was full featured and had provisions for both MM and MC cartridges.,
