Nice unit everything operates as it should but may need an antenna depending on where you live and only if radio choices are scarce. I usually have 2 or sometimes three channels that I have to set a metal rod on to get good reception but most stations I can tune into without the metal extension.
Capable of operating without the plug using D batteries and speakers are removable and easy to swap out with different ones if you like
