Tigre Royal is a vintage, first edition design by Christiane Vauzelles issued in 1977. It features a large, regal tiger posed beneath a crown and flanked by palm fronds. This carré is far from perfect -- PLEASE examine ALL photos carefully -- but has lots of life remaining. The hems are somewhat flattened and there are some pulls, but once tied these minor issues are not noticeable.
This scarf is considered quite rare and of high interest (see page 205 of Carré d'art IV in the final two photos) due in part to its stunning and recognizable design as a must have for Hermès collectors. Also to be noted is fact that this original composition was never re-released as a 90 cm.
