This is the HIFIMAN EDITION XS.
I purchased it used from e-earphone on December 13, 2025 (meaning it's still under the shop warranty).
It was grade C without a cable, so the headband had scratches (see photos) and the ear pads needed replacing.
I replaced the ear pads with compatible ones purchased on Amazon, and also bought a 1.2m OFC unbalanced cable for the time being.
After short listening sessions outside and at home, I realized that the sound of planar magnetic headphones isn't really my preference, and more importantly, the fit isn't to my liking. So, I'm putting it up for sale before it deteriorates.
There are no operational issues (if there were, I would have returned it under warranty).
What's being offered is the main unit, the box, the almost-new replacement ear pads, the 1.2m OFC cable, and a 6.5mm adapter.
In other words, it's what arrived from e-earphone three weeks ago, with the ear pads replaced and a cable added. (So, I've added about 3500 yen to the purchase price.)
By the way, the shop warranty should be invalid upon transfer of ownership according to the terms and conditions.
