Caution: Test fountain pens before regular use The Hobonichi Techo's Tomoe River paper is designed to prevent bleed-through, but some fountain pens and water-based ink pens are not compatible with this paper. When switching to a new pen, we recommend testing the pen somewhere in the book, such as the back memo pages, to see if the ink bleeds through or takes an especially long time to dry.

• THIN AND DURABLE PAPER - The notebook uses thin and light yet durable Tomoe River paper, same as the Hobonichi Techo. This paper is resistant to bleed through and provides a smooth surface for an optimal writing experience.

• THE 0.1 INCH GRID - The 0.1 inch (3.7 mm) grid graph paper is also the same as that of the Hobonichi Techo Cousin. The 4 colors of the ink (red / blue / green / purple) on the page changes every 72 pages, making it easy to split the book into several themes or use the colors as a way to more easily find old entries.
