The Idler Arm is a critical part of your vehicle’s steering system. The function of an Idler Arm is to support the end of the Center Link opposite from the Pitman Arm. Supporting the end of the Center Link opposite from the Pitman Arm allows the Pitman Arm to properly transfer steering input to the Center Link and its Tie Rods.
