The pattern Jacob's Ladder was designed by John Bryce and appeared in U.S. Glass Company catalogs from 1876 to 1907. It is also known as "Maltese". Both handles have little Maltese crosses in them! There is also a twenty-point star in the center. I have always loved this pattern because of the way it catches and reflects the light. This is a relish dish which measures 9¾ in. long x 5½ in. wide x 1¼ in. high. In very good condition.
