This is a copy of Joe Palooka Comics #22 Harvey 7/48. Cover has some damage as shown in the picture. The first page is ripped out, but it has no impact on the story. The Jo Luca story starts after those first advertising pages. There’s a great picture there of an advertisement for the type of clothes that adolescent males were in 1948.
I think it’s kind of cool I think this whole book is kind of cool. Especially in an age where boys are not encouraged to fight. This is like a glimpse back into an age that no longer exist.
Hope you enjoy the book. I’m pricing it very low.
