Takbon describes a special Korean method of producing images. The motif is first carved in a wooden plate. Subsequently rub damp Hanji paper with a brush on the motif until it appears on the paper. The motif is then colored with a color-impregnated cotton ball. Takbon combines the art of the traditional Hanji- Paper production with that of carving and printing.In very good condition, never framed.
