The problem in Germany with the band's original logo stemmed from the fact that Nazi Germany's Schutzstaffel otherwise known as the SS used a similar lightning bolt logo stylized with the Armanen Sig runes. DRESSED TO KILL was the third studio album by Kiss. It was produced by Casablanca Records president Neil Bogart, as the label's financial situation at the time did not permit the hiring of a professional producer.
