KONTRAPUNKT Chester Coat Gray

This is a Chester coat from KONTRAPUNKT.


It was founded by Keiichi Tanaka, who worked as a designer for COMME des GARCONS HOMME and COMME des GARCONS HOMME HOMME at Comme des Garçons from the 1990s to around 2003, after he left Comme des Garçons and became independent.

The brand's clothing is exquisite, with a simple yet beautiful and subtly elegant design that incorporates playful elements. Items from the Comme des Garçons era when Tanaka was a member are often referred to as Tanaka period or Tanaka Homme.

KONTRAPUNKT ceased operations after only a few seasons, making its items extremely rare.

This Chester coat features a unique design with a shawl collar and a notched lapel overlapping. The body is also made with a unique layered fabric construction.
