Unique and very well large vintage sterling silver and genuine opal ring. This is a very old piece and has quite unique stone. I think this is a triplet opal because there are very think lines on top which sometimes occurs when the triplet glass layer scratches or cracks. THESE DO NOT IMPACT THE INTEGRITY OF THE STONE and are only seen close up, as seen in a photo. depending on the angle and lighting, there are flashes of orange, pink, blue, green, yellow, and more. The stone is more green when looking straight on and has lots of colors from the sides. It is set a rope bezel with ball detailing on the top and bottom. It is not stamped 925, the test positive for Sterling and is GUARANTEED. It is quite a beautiful ring with a very unique Opal. if you like unique and/or one of a kind pieces, this is it! It is a size 6.25.
