This is Lexi. Lexi was unfortunately hit by a car on December 22nd, and promptly taken to our local animal hospital. She was admitted into the ICU, suffering from a traumatic brain injury, broken jaw in two places, two damaged canine teeth and a broken elbow.
Due to all of these injuries, and a kitty who wanted to fight with all she had, she needed two surgeries and lots of rest. Eight days later, Lexi came home! She had jaw surgery as well as elbow surgery, two teeth removed. Her jaw is now wired shut, and she has a long road ahead of her, but she is doing great!
However, my bank account is not. Her bill came to a whopping 10,801. She is worth it. I love her deeply.
