I never knew there was such a person. She rose from a poor family to become the best high-class courtesan in Paris, captivated famous people and royalty, married and became a real aristocrat, and finally, as a devout Christian, was called Saint Liane... Truly a tumultuous life.

High-class courtesans who brightly colored the Belle Époque. There was such an era. In her later years, she became religious, but I wonder what she thought of the men she had once ruined. (From a review)

The cover shows some scratches and dents, but the inside is very clean.
