This is a vintage Capodimonte Figure from the 1990's.
It has been stored in a lighted curio cabinet since being bought.
Skilled artisans begin by modeling the design from soft clay. The clay models are then placed in molds to replicate delicate details. The pieces are fired in a kiln to harden the clay before glazing and painting. Each piece is hand-painted, adding vibrant colors and intricate details.
This piece has 2 pairs of white doves perched on an arched white tree. There is a big hot pink rose in the center along with a couple of rose buds. It measures almost 6 1/2" tall by 6" wide.
A great piece to add to your collection, give as a gift or starting your collection.
