Biography: Marco Del Re born in Rome in 1950, is a contemporary Italian engraver and painter. He currently lives and works in Paris where, since 1988, he has exhibited at Galerie Maeght . His work is a journey through different eras where classical tradition meets modern painting. While perpetuating the tradition when he works in the engraving workshop of Saint Paul, Marco Del Re approaches experimental techniques in his Parisian studio to create new forms of expression combining the classic with modernity.
