Mid century. It is in very nice condition with normal age wear.
This wonderfully designed Copper Bracelet and Screwback Earrings is in excellent vintage condition. Mid century. The bracelet is 6 1/2" long. The clasp works well. The chain is articulated which gives it a snake like appearance. The story of this artist is quite interesting. From starting with scrap metal and tin cans for his creations to jewelry that was included in exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
As the first Master of Art Jewelry, Rebajes’ work was inspired by Art, both modern and of the antiquities. From Broadway to Ancient Egypt, from Brazil to the far reaches of Africa. Though the Rebajes’ name is known for Copper Art, Francisco Rebajes worked in many other mediums. His modernist designs became world famous for their innovation and creativity.”
