1889-O Morgan silver dollar (minted in New Orleans; the “O” mint mark is on the reverse below the wreath). It contains 90% silver (0.7734 troy ounces of pure silver).
VF-30 to VF-35 (Very Fine)
• Obverse: Liberty’s cheek and hair show moderate to heavy flattening/wear (especially the hair lines above the ear and forehead). The cotton leaves and cap details are mostly worn but outlined. Some original detail remains in the hair curls.
• Reverse: The eagle’s breast feathers are mostly flat, wing feathers blended in places, and the wreath shows wear but retains definition. No major damage or cleaning visible—just honest circulation wear with some light scratches and toning.
• solid mid-range Very Fine example, not quite reaching Extremely Fine (XF/AU) where more hair/ear detail and sharper feather separation would show.
