MSG & SONS has updated their classic "Baker Pants," which were previously made in Japan, to "MADE IN USA." They focused on and examined the US ARMY's masterpiece, commonly known as Baker Pants (Utility Pants), specifically those from the late 1950s to the early 1960s. Based on deadstock from that era, they faithfully reproduced the size specifications of the time by pattern making using "inches," the American standard.
The sewing is done at a factory with a proven track record of supplying to the US military.

The fabric is MSG & SONS' completely original, produced by studying the weave structure of deadstock from the 1950s. The cotton back satin, recreated from the yarn using American cotton known for its roughness, faithfully expresses the unique unevenness of vintage fabrics. Furthermore, by varying the hardness of the weft and warp threads and weaving them to the limit, the fabric has a strong firmness. This is a masterpiece created with respect for the history and culture of old America, paying homage to the original vintage pieces.
