The Neiger Brothers, Max and Norbert, were Czech glass jewelry makers from Gablonz (now Jablonec nad Nisou) in Czechoslovakia, known for their beautiful, often Egyptian Revival, Chinese, and Indian-inspired costume jewelry, particularly during the 1920s and 1930s
Tragic End:
As Jewish citizens, the Neiger brothers were arrested in Prague in 1939 and, in 1942, were exterminated by the Nazis at Auschwitz.
